Obituary for Dishiem I Johnson

Dishiem Imere Johnson was born on May 26, 1997. He departed this life on November 15, 2018.
“Mann” ,as he was affectionately known by his family and close friends, was the love of his grandmother’s life. She loved and cared for him from an infant to a bright young man. She taught him the value of hard work among many other things. It was Mina and Mann until her untimely passing

Dishiem graduated with honors from Dover High School, Class of 2016. He was a true Senator; K-12. He played football, basketball and ran track. Mann was good at baseball but football was his passion. After graduating from DHS, Dishiem briefly attended Wesley College before entering the workforce at Jersey Mike’s Subs. He would come in saying “They are not paying enough money”. Determined to do better; Dishiem applied and was hired at Walmart, Camden, Delaware. In September of 2018 Dishiem com-pleted his Army National Guard Training.

Mann enjoyed music, riding in his car, shopping (talent picked up from Mina), watching ESPN, spending time with his older brother “Boogie” and hanging out over his aunt Christine’s. He also enjoyed playing video games with his siblings and cousins.
Mann is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Wilhelmina Cannon and great grandfather, James Little.

Dishiem is survived by; his father, Donald Cannon; mother, SaFata Fisher; grandmother, Marlene Johnson; grandfathers, Donald Little and James Johnson; great grandmother, Mildred Spence; God parents, Doc and Melissa Samuel; sisters, JayKirah Wayman, Mariha and Aniyah Wotten; brothers, ShyKeem Johson and Caiden Weathers; nephew, King Wayman; great aunts, Christine Thomas and Dora Evans; Aunt, Keawina Johnson; uncles Antonio Johnson, Donnie Little; his favorite cousins, “Jean” and “Kiesha” and a host of other family and friends.
