Obituary for James Leon Leon Wayman Jr.

James "Leon" was the son of the late Ida Heath Wayman and James Leon Wayman Sr. born on January 22, 1934. He departed this life on February 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. He graduated from Delaware State College High School in 1952. Leon retired from George & Lynch Construction after many years. James was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosa Lee Lampkins Wayman.
He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Kennedy (David); grandsons, David and Jared (Breanne); great-grandson, Braxton; 2 great granddaughters, Michala and Camyron; 1 great grandson Myka; 3 Foster daughters, Stephaine, Lisa and Carlissa; 9 foster grandchildren; 1 brother, Carlin Talib Saafir (Ruqayya Ali Saafir); 1 sister Kay Wayman; 3 brothers in-law;d 1 sister in-law;
3 Godchildren, Neonta, MaDonna, Darren,Derrick; devoted cousin, Corinthia Heath-Henryand a host of cousins and friends.
